As a disaster can happen at any time, it is important that you ensure your workplace is prepared in case of an emergency. We outline below some basic information about workplace emergency supply guidelines, some ideas about what to include in your workplace emergency supplies, and some special offers for some important survival supplies every office survival kit should have.
Under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and its amendments, there is a requirement to be able to look after your staff during an emergency, including Civil Defence emergencies. Our Office Survival products ensure that you are on your way to complying with these requirements. The Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management have released a guide for what should be in a workplace Civil Defence Kit which might help give a better idea of how to be ready.
