Meals Ready to Eat (MRE's)

MRE is an American abbreviation for meals ready to eat. It is usually used in a military situation to describe their ration pack food.

Hungerbuster Meals are not freeze dried. They are meals that are ready - to - eat and packed with chunks of REAL food. They can be eaten hot or cold ; we recommend hot for maximum taste enjoyment. Hungerbuster food is precooked and extremely easy to prepare - heat & eat. Freeze dri requires re - hydration with water and a longer preparation time compared to Hungerbuster. In emergency situations having nutritious food that can be eaten instantly without complicated preparation is a major bonus.

All of the Hungerbuster range has up to three year shelf life, subject to being stored in a stable environment, not exceeding 20oC.

These are the same meals supplied to the entire New Zealand armed forces and also used by 70% of the Australian armed forces.
